The new gems of the 9th arrondissement
Categories : Visit Paris, published on : 3/1/23
Elegant and lively, rich in history and stories, the 9th arrondissement is an exciting district in which the Hotel Les Plumes has found its rightful place. It’s also a district with a vibrant ambiance and new businesses open regularly here. Here are two that we recommend and that you can discover within a ten-minute walk of the hotel.
Well-being and meditation at the Wellness Galerie
A haven well tucked away from the daily hustle and bustle, the Wellness Galerie of the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann department store invites you to regain your mind/body balance and your energy. In a tranquil and intimate setting, the Wellness Galerie offers a resolutely unique experience that brings together under the same roof a selection of the best experts in well-being, beauty, care, energy and physical fitness. What’s more, the shopping area offers beautiful products from carefully selected well-being brands. You could browse contentedly in this space for hours! So, get ready to discover this new 3,000m² space dedicated to well-being.
A new gourmet address
Quentin Hua has decided to leave behind the world of finance to devote himself to his gourmet passion: the madeleine. In his adorable shop on the Rue Victor Massé, open to the street and diffusing its delicious scents onto the pavement, he offers this sweet delicacy prepared to a traditional recipe with his own added touches. With vanilla, lemon, salted butter caramel or chocolate praline filling, his madeleines are truly generous and irresistible indulgences. With the changing of the seasons, the Comptoir de Madeleine also offers its flavour of the moment. To be enjoyed without moderation, for any occasion!
The 9th arrondissement is full of lovely and appealing places for you to discover during your stay at the Hotel Les Plumes.
