Romantic weekend in Paris
Categories : Visit Paris, published on : 10/19/15
How would you like to spend a romantic weekend, curled up in one of the most romantic hotels in the most romantic city in the world? That’s a lot of romance to be going on with, but we say that you can never have enough of romance. And to show you that we mean every word, we’ve devised a short tour of Paris to allow you to discover some of the most romantic aspects of the city together
Under Parisian Skies
The residents of Montmartre often say that "All lovers pass here!" and the district’s winding stairs, flower filled streets and shady squares are certainly an invitation to romance. The gleaming zinc just begs for tender breaks while small cobblestones necessitate a slow, languid pace. Take the subway or travel by Velib (more fun by bicycle, and it’s downhill!) to the docks to explore miles of options – take a simple walk past the booksellers, cruise on the Seine, enjoy a picnic on the Pont des Arts, or get away from it all in the Luxembourg or Tuileries gardens in settings that are always conducive to promises and sweet words of love.
Paris by night
As evening approaches you wander slowly till you reach Saint-Germain-des-Prés. A stop at the legendary Deux Magots café will plunge you into the atmosphere of the 1950s when Jean-PaulSartre, Raymond Queneau and Andre Gide had their own tables. Take time to enjoy a drink before making your way to a show at the Opera Garnier or Théâtre de la Ville. After the concert, head for the île Saint-Louis or the Marais where a romantic dinner in one of the lovely restaurants that flourish in the ancient streets awaits you. It will then be time to return to your room at Les Plumes. If you selected our exclusive “Romance Package" you’ll discover a chilled bottle of champagne and your bed will be beautifully decorated with a rose petal heart. Breakfast will be served next morning to complete your romantic break. We wish all lovers an enjoyable and utterly romantic stay at Les Plumes Hotel!
