Major music festivals
Do you love the atmosphere and sense of unity of a great music festival? If so, Paris is the summer destination for you. The season opens with We Love Green in the Bois de Vincennes. Then, at the end of June, there’s Solidays at the Paris Longchamp racecourse, featuring Angèle and Juliette Armanet as headliners, followed by Lollapalooza, which mixes pop and rap at the end of July. The summer climaxes with Rock en Seine at the end of August, with Billie Eillish and Placebo headlining at the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud. You’ll hardly have time to breathe...
Quieter festivals
Want to get away from the press of the big festival crowds? Here are some events that might be right for you. Movies are screened beneath the stars with the Cinéma en plein air de la Villette four evenings a week from July 19th to August 20that La Villette. You can also enjoy cinema evenings at the Palais Galliera or on the rooftop of the Hotel Paradiso. Fancy a family festival? Pestacles at the Parc Floral will enchant your summer. Finally, from June 21st to July 20th, the esplanade of the Pyramid of the Louvre and the Jardin des Tuileries host an artistic festival with a varied and exciting programme.
It's quick and easy to get to these festival venues from the Hotel Les Plumes. However, if you want to be in the audience for the most popular of them, it’s best to book your places as soon as possible.
