The Picasso Museum has reopened to great acclaim
Following a number of years of controversial delays the Musée Picasso reopened in late October and the renovated building was immediately hailed as a triumph. The vast expense involved has resulted in a state of the art museum to house the world’s largest collection of original works by the late Spanish artistic genius. The collection consists of over 5,000 works by Picasso including paintings, sketches, engravings, sculptures and a vast amount of archival material chronologically charting the evolution of the artist’s style and technique.
