In less than 15 years, the Art Paris Art Fair has become one of spring’s unmissable artistic events. An international event
From March 31st to April 3rd, 2016 the famous Grand Palais dome enters the era of modern and contemporary art and design in all its forms. Over four days, thousands of visitors will have the pleasure of discovering 143 animated galleries hosted by representatives from 20 countries. This thrilling fair has become increasingly international in flavour, as evidenced by the participation of more than 70 foreign galleries including, for the first time, Azerbaijan, Colombia and Iran. The 2016 edition of Art Paris Art Fair also honours Korean artists as part of the France-Korea year celebrations. The programme includes lectures and videos and provides a platform for artists represented by galleries in Seoul, Busan and Daegu.
The promise of discovery
Art Paris Art Fair is an event dedicated to a wide range of artistic techniques and practises, mainly painting, photography, sculpture but also, sporadically, furniture and collectibles. The exhibition explores art from the post-war era to the present day through thematic sectors such as Solo Show where you can discover personal exhibitions by established artists or the cream of emerging creative talent while the Promise sector features new young galleries. This year the fair presents 10 young galleries and each has been selected for their original and innovative personality. As for fans of digital art, they will have the exceptional pleasure of admiring stunning projections on the façade of the Grand Palais.
